We are staying at the Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort next week. Please tell me pool hours, and if/how they are restricting the amount of people in the pools? Thanks.

Hey there, Crystal. I actually stayed at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort just a few days ago. It was my daughter's birthday and I let you choose all of the itinerary. We ended up at the main pool 5 different times!

Right now, because of everything going on, pool hours can vary quite a bit. When I was there, the main pool hours were from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. each day. When you arrive, there will be a board in the main lobby giving you details about resort happenings during your stay. The board will include hours for both the pool and the movie under the stars. I like to take a quick picture of this board when I arrive and use it for reference throughout the week. While I was there, I did not see the Cast Member working the entrance gate to the pool turn anyone away. The pool was busy but not overly crowded. They had chairs set up in groupings but spaced apart for Guests to relax in. The Cast Members working kindly asked not to move the chairs around as they are set up in a way to promote physical distancing. During my time at the pool, I noticed several Cast Members constantly cleaning chairs and tables, wiping down handrails and reminding Guests to use their face coverings when leaving the pool deck. I also felt like Guests were extremely respectful when using the slide giving everyone space on the stairway leading up to it. All Cast Members were wearing face coverings, however, Guests are able to remove them on the pool deck and of course in the pool. I felt very comfortable during my visits and I think the Cast Members are doing a great job keeping everyone safe and happy.

If you get a chance, I highly suggest stopping by the Banana Cabana pool bar while you are enjoying the pool at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. They have a wide variety of mocktails, cocktails and snacks to choose from. For mocktails, my daughter really enjoyed the  peachcomber with is a fruity mixture of orange, melon and peach topped with soda water. She said it was so refreshing. For cocktails, they have so many with Caribbean-inspired flavors it's hard to pick a favorite and for snacks, my whole family enjoyed the Chile con Queso which was Caribbean-style Chile, pimento cheese, pico de gallo served with fried tortillas. Delicious and a perfect snack to enjoy poolside!

Crystal, I really enjoyed my time eating, drinking and relaxing at the pool at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and I know you will too! If you have any other questions about your stay at this resort, I'd love to help.

    Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
