If we are staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort can we use the fitness facilities and spas at the other resorts? Like say I wanted to book a massage for my husband and I could I book it at a different resort since my resort does not have a spa?

Judy thanks for visiting us here at planDisney. Staying in shape is important to maintain a healthy physical lifestyle. Taking a relaxing spa day is great for your mental and physical health. Maintaining it during your vacation is sometimes tricky but I think we can help you figure it out.

I would first like to commend you for keeping that workout routine in mind while on vacation. I would chalk it up to "I got my steps in." Disney's Art of Animation Resort has such beautiful views of yesterday's classics and today's favorites on display. Luckily you will be able to take some of it in if you include a run in your workout. Your resort property has a 1.38-mile jogging trail, it does not have a fitness center but it does have 308,527 gallons of perfectly swimmable water. The Big Blue Pool is themed after "Finding Nemo" and if you arrive at the very beginning of the day you may be able to get a lap or two in. Unfortunately, fitness centers at other resorts are only for guests of that particular resort. However, you can make spa reservations at The Grand Floridian Spa which is currently taking reservations without staying at the resort.

This full-service spa experience is reminiscent of a serene Florida garden. There are plenty of services to rejuvenate the mind body and soul. Massages, body treatments, and manicures are just some of the relaxing things to pamper yourself and your husband. The Mandara Spa located inside the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel has some very nice options as well for booking that special day of tranquility. The Tea Gardens serve up a refreshing start to your experience. I would call soon since your visit is so close.

I hope these tips help you find the best options for your visit. please don't hesitate to visit again with any other planning needs.

    See ya real soon,
