Hi there, Sandra! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Eating at the Disneyland Resort is one of my most favorite things because the options are endless and I know I'm in for a great meal no matter where I dine!
In addition to Goofy's Kitchen, there are dinner buffets at
Storytellers Cafe inside Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa and Disney's PCH Grill inside Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel. I'll start with Storytellers Cafe since I dined there during a recent visit. You can choose to either order off the a la carte menu or take advantage of the expansive buffet. I distinctly remember enjoying the salmon and a wonderfully creamy pasta dish from the buffet. Also, they had lots of mini desserts to choose from which I think are a really fun way to try a few different things. Spoilers: they were all delicious!
Over at
Disney's PCH Grill, it's the Beachside Bonfire Dinner Buffet. This buffet is a little more casual with offerings like sliders, hot dogs, and tacos. To end your meal, you simply must try the s'more bar with house-made marshmallows!
These buffets are both similar in price so the choice will be more about the type of food you are craving and the location. If you think you might want to stroll along the
Downtown Disney District after dinner, then Storytellers Cafe would be the more convenient location. Keep in mind that characters do not appear at either of these dinners. Once you've decided, I suggest making reservations up to 60 days in advance online or by calling (714) 781-DINE.
I hope you have a deliciously good time at the Disneyland Resort!
