if you are staying at a disneyland property is there a fee to enter downtown disney district

Hello there, Sherry. Welcome to planDisney. I’m so glad you took the time to stop by with your question for us.

Downtown Disney District has great retail and dining options for Guests to enjoy before, after, or in-between their theme park visits. While there, you can pick up some souvenirs at World of Disney or grab some sweet treats at Marceline’s Confectionery. I love watching the candy apples being transformed into whimsical Disney characters. My kids also enjoy the unique ice cream flavors at Salt & Straw

Sherry, I’m happy to report that there’s no fee for Guests to enter Downtown Disney District; moreover, you don’t even need to be staying at one of the 3 onsite Disneyland Resort hotels to visit. Everyone can enter Downtown Disney District!

As you continue to plan your upcoming trip, be sure to check out Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland.com for the latest park news. If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to write us again! We’re all EARS!

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
