Welcome to planDisney, Diana!
I’m so glad you found us here as you prepare for your stay at the iconic
Disneyland Hotel today! Have you watched the "Behind the Attraction" episode all about the Disneyland Hotel on
Disney+? The amount of history crammed into that place is just mind-blowing! It's where the magic all began, setting the stage for the magical Disney Resort experiences we now cherish around the globe.
I recently spoke with a friendly Cast Member at the hotel named Maggie, and she let me know that even though the two
Monorail Waterslides are still being refurbished, the rest of the pool will remain open for guests of the hotel. So, you can still make a splash under this lovely spring sun!
And Diana, have you heard about the
all-new splash pad themed after 'Steamboat Willie' on The Villas of the Disneyland Hotel? I've been dying to have my little guy enjoy that
Palette Pool. As a Disneyland Hotel guest, you'll have full access to this area even if you are not booked at The Villas!
Now if your heart is set on the thrill of wind in your hair as you whoosh down a waterslide, you'll have access to the slides at
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa since the Monorail Waterslides are closed. That 90-foot-long waterslide curving around a giant Redwood tree stump at the
Redwood Pool sounds like quite an adventure. With all of these watery options, you and your cast of characters are bound to have more fun than a
Motunui splashing about this weekend!
I hope this news brings a wave of excitement, Diana! If you need
more tips or have any more questions as you plan this epic birthday getaway, just
send me another question directly– and I’ll be able to get back to you faster than Ariel can shout
“But Daddy, I love him!”You’ve got a friend in me,
