We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel. Can we use the pools at the other hotels?

Hiya, Stephen, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I’m so excited for your upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort! You made a great decision to stay at the Disneyland Hotel, too, it’s one of my family’s favorites! As a Guest of the Disneyland Hotel, you’ll receive access to the beautiful pools and waterslides on property, but you won’t be able to access the pools at the other two Disneyland Resort Hotels, since pool hopping isn’t permitted. However, I’m happy to report that the Disneyland Hotel has plenty of water fun to keep your family busy!

My children could spend hours at the Monorail Waterslides, which feature replicas of the original Mark 1 Monorail trains. There are two larger waterslides, and a 2-lane mini slide designed for smaller Mouseketeers. The mini slide splashes into a very shallow pool area, which also has fountains, pop jets, and a waterfall. As a parent of three young children, I love that I can sit in one location and keep an eye on all three of them at the same time! In addition, the E-Ticket Pool features cute decorative signs resembling the theme-park tickets that started it all. The D-Ticket Pool is your best spot for swimming laps, if that’s how you prefer to spend your pool time.

At the end of a busy Disney day, I highly recommend relaxing with your family in the Mickey or Minnie Spa whirlpools. Or, if you’re planning on spending your day poolside, you may want to check out the option of renting a private cabana for an added fee. Also, be sure to check out the food and beverage service at the pools from Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar and Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill… you simply can’t beat a day at the pools with a Piranha Pool in hand!

If for some reason any of the Disneyland Hotel pools are closed for refurbishment, Cast Members will alert you upon check-in, and typically offer access to the pool area at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, which is just a short walk from the Disneyland Hotel.

Please stop by with any additional questions, Stephen… we’re all EARs!
