We’re staying at the Disneyland Hotel and planning to self-park. I noticed the self park lot is a bit further away from the hotel entrance. Is there a place to temporarily park to check unload luggage and all our baby gear before going to self-park?

    Greetings Kathy!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with a question! A very warm welcome to you!

Something I love about staying on property at the Disneyland Resort is that your stay begins the morning you check in and ends the night you check out. Meaning, that you can take advantage of perks like Hotel Parking even before your room is ready and a room number has been assigned! Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests may use self-parking or valet. I prefer self-parking and here’s what I do. I pull right up in front of the Disneyland Hotel and ask a Bell Services Cast Member to unload my car and take my luggage. Then I park my car. If your room is not ready and you are heading to the parks or pool, you may store your luggage. Once your room is ready, you can call them to bring your luggage straight to your room.

Plus, even after you have checked out of the hotel, you can still take advantage of Resort Hotel perks like using the Pool and Parking Lot. Your hotel key will grant you access to the pool during pool operating hours for the entire day you checkout. I like to check out and store my luggage with Bell Services. Then spend the day at the pool until I am ready to drive home. You are welcome to do the same! Hotel Parking is charged each night of your stay.

I hope this information is helpful! Please head back to planDisney with more questions!
