Hi again, Elizabeth! I’m so happy to help you with another question!
When it comes to character dining,
Goofy’s Kitchen and
Ariel’s Grotto are both excellent choices. The first thing that should factor into your decision is what time of day you would like to dine. Ariel’s Grotto offers breakfast and lunch with the princesses while Goofy’s Kitchen offers meals only at breakfast and dinner. The next item to ponder is which characters you would like to meet. You will meet Ariel upon entering Ariel’s Grotto and then a few other princesses will come to your table while you dine. At Goofy’s Kitchen you will meet Goofy, of course, and a few of his friends like Chip, Dale, and Pluto. Or if you dine at dinner now through the end of the year, Mickey also makes an appearance. Since the meals are similar in price, the third item to consider is the food! Goofy’s Kitchen has all sorts of delicious options in the buffet complete with many kid-friendly items. At Ariel’s Grotto, you will order off a menu which features many tasty seafood-inspired dishes among other things.
Depending on your flights and schedule on the last day of your vacation, you might consider having breakfast at Goofy’s Kitchen on your departure day. Since it is close to your hotel room, you can enjoy a nice breakfast, get one last bit of Disney magic in your vacation, and then head back to your room to pack and catch your transportation to the airport.
No matter which restaurant you choose, you are certain to have a fabulous meal with some of your favorite Disney pals. Just be sure to make reservations as soon as you decide as these meals are quite popular. Happy planning!
