Hi Tiffany, welcome to planDisney!
I actually just stayed at the
Disneyland Hotel during my recent visit to the
Disneyland Resort, and absolutely loved it! I felt so immersed in all things Disney and loved the history as I walked around the hotel. It made me feel giddy just like a kid all over again! So, if this is where you are planning to stay, EXCELLENT CHOICE!
For
Disney California Adventure Park, Disneyland Hotel Guests can use the special entrance through
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa that leads directly into the park. This will lead you towards the right side of the park near the Grizzly Peak area. But to be honest, I actually prefer walking through the front gates, as you'll get to walk through Buena Vista Street! Buena Vista Street has that old-town vibe, and you never know which
Disney Pals you'll see there!
For
Disneyland Park, you have the option of boarding the
Monorail at the
Downtown Disney District station. This will allow you to skip the front gates and go straight to Tomorrowland! But again, my preference is to walk through the front gates. I LOVE walking down
Main Street, U.S.A., it still gives me butterflies, and I love looking into my little kid's faces as they gaze in wonder and awe!
But if you are planning a multi-day visit, feel free to try all the different ways of entering the parks I mentioned above! Either way, you're sure to have blast!
See ya real soon!
