I'm ecstatic to hear that you will be staying in the magic at a
Disneyland Resort hotel. And at
the Disneyland Hotel to boot? Iconic, no notes. Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is located just a short walk down and across the street from the Disneyland Hotel. You are more than welcome to use the entrance to Disney California Adventure Park located in the Grand Californian.
A couple of things to keep in mind. There is a secured gate at the entrance to the hotel located on Disneyland Drive and you will need your room key to unlock and access this gate. During very busy times, the entrance to California Adventure (from the Grand Californian) can also be limited to guests staying at the hotel. That said, I've used this entrance many times when staying at the Disneyland Hotel and have not had any issues.
If you're passing through the lobby of the Grand Californian, there's usually a frightfully fantastic and grand Halloween display made completely from confections. There are often a few hidden Mickeys scattered throughout as well. I always love taking some time to find as many as I can. Nearby, you'll also find the
Grand Californian Great Hall Cart with so many delicious offerings. If I could only choose one, the choice would be simple - a Gingerbread Skeleton Cookie. They're to die for (trust me).
