Greetings, Nancy, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you’re hEAR!
You’re going to love staying at the
Disneyland Hotel during your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! It’s my family’s favorite spot to stay at the Disneyland Resort thanks to the classic Disney nostalgia and the monorail waterslides! I think my children could play on those all day long! There aren’t any shuttles running between the
Disneyland Resort Hotels, but that’s because they’re all very close to one another! In fact, the Disneyland Hotel is only a short five-minute walk through
Downtown Disney District to
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and a very short one-minute walk to
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. I love how close together everything is at the Disneyland Resort – once you arrive, you don’t need any other transportation during your stay!
Have you made your
dining reservation yet for your meal at the Grand Californian? I recommend making your reservation up to 60 days ahead of your visit. Choose from
several terrific dining options, including the upscale
Napa Rose, the family-friendly
Storytellers Cafe, the cozy
Hearthstone Lounge, and the recently-opened
GCH Craftsman Grill, located near the pool area. Reservations are only offered at Napa Rose and Storytellers Cafe, while the other dining spots are first-come, first-served.
One of my favorite spots to eat and grab a drink at the Disneyland Hotel is
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, located just above the pool. The appetizers and tropical drinks are simply delicious! At night, there’s even an acoustic duo playing relaxing music amidst the tiki torches. Now that’s Disney magic!
Please stop by with any additional planning questions you may have. Can’t wait to see ya’ real soon!
