Megan from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am staying at Disneyland Hotel and we have booked a 3-bedroom Family Connecting Suite. I have seen videos of some coming with balconies, but I do not see it as an amenity online. Do all of them have a balcony or can I request one upon mobile check in?

Hi Megan! Welcome to planDisney! Oh boy! I'm so thrilled to hear that you have a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth coming up very soon! I imagine you're counting down the days.

Thank you for your great question! My family absolutely adores the Disneyland Hotel! Open just a few months after Disneyland Park in 1955, the Disneyland Hotel is also celebrating a milestone birthday this year! The Disneyland Hotel holds that incredible Disney history with today’s modern style and, don't tell the others, but it's my favorite Disneyland Resort Hotel. You picked a good one, Megan!

I spoke with a very kind Cast Member at the Disneyland Hotel who confirmed that the 3-bedroom Family Connecting Suites do have balconies on the highest floor in the Frontier Tower. If you would like to put in a request for one of these particular rooms, you may call Hotel Reservations 10 days before your visit to add this note to your booking. You should know, Megan, that requests cannot be guaranteed but Cast Members will do their best to accommodate. Magic does happen sometimes!

I can't wait for you to experience the magic of Disneyland Hotel, Megan! You’ll be transported to paradise another world away, yet still only a five-minute stroll to the monorail station and Downtown Disney District. Also, please don't forget to check out the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad diorama in the Frontier Tower Lobby. The diorama was built to a 1/4" to 1' scale of Frontierland's famous coaster and is a recreation of the original model used by Imagineers in the 1970s to create Big Thunder. It's incredible and my family, including two young sons, can't get enough of taking in every little detail.

I hope this has been helpful for you in your planning, Megan, and that you and your party have so much fun immersed in the Disneyland magic. If you have any other questions or would like some tips on visiting Disneyland with a large group, don't hesitate to reach out! You've got a friend in me!

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
