We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel. We arrive in the afternoon one day and then have that afternoon and the whole next day in the parks. What is the best ride strategy? We are two adults and one seven year old girl, who is 125cm tall.

    Welcome back to planDisney, David!

I’m delighted to help you plan your trip to the most magical place in Europe… let the magic begin.

Your 7-year-old is at such a fun age to experience the magic! I have so many lovely memories of my children in the Disney parks from babies to toddlers to tweens.

As you are staying at the enchanting Disneyland Hotel and arriving in the afternoon, you could head straight into the magic of Disneyland Park when you arrive. There are plenty of rides for you to enjoy as a family, from "it's a small world" to Peter Pan’s Flight, to name a couple of my family’s favourites. If your 7-year-old is a thrill-seeker then she is also tall enough to blast off on Star Wars: Hyperspace Mountain or take a ride through the wilderness on Big Thunder Mountain!

You’ve chosen a wonderful time to visit Disneyland Paris with the recently opened World of Frozen to explore. At Disney Adventure World, take the time to wander the streets of Arendelle and meet some of your favourite characters, like Mossie the baby troll! Then sail away on the enchanting boat ride, Frozen Ever After.

Next tip… don’t miss Disney Stars on Parade! I am a huge fan of Disney parades, and love to see my children dance along to the music and wave to their favourite characters as the floats pass by. I can’t wait for you to experience Disney Stars on Parade when you visit Disneyland Paris; it’s truly magical.

In between all of the attractions and shows, you won’t want to skip the delicious Disney dining options that Disneyland Paris has to offer. My family loves Character Dining, as it’s the perfect place to meet all of your favourite Disney pals in one place while enjoying a feast fit for royalty! You might want to consider adding a Meal Plan to your booking for the convenience and value they add to your trip.

Gazing up at the fireworks illuminating the sky is my favourite way to end a Disney day, and there are two enchanting nighttime spectaculars for you to choose from! As you are at Disneyland Paris for two evenings, I would recommend trying to catch a viewing of Disney Tales of Magic one evening and Disney Cascade of Lights the second evening.

I hope this has helped make your upcoming trip practically perfect in every way, David! Stop by and see me anytime at planDisney.

    Magic Awaits,

    Abi
