Hello, I will be staying at Disney yacht resort for 8 nights in December. Will i be able to make dining reservations 60 days ahead of check in for any day of my trip. Or only 60d in advance of each day I’m there?

    Hello Trevor!

Welcome to planDisney! Trevor, Disney's Yacht Club Resort during the holidays is just magical. I feel like many don't know how festively decorated this Resort gets during the holiday season. The lobby sometimes gets a gingerbread creation of its own that smells so delicious.

Dining Reservations are a must when booking a Table Service meal- especially during the holidays. Since you are a guest at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you will be able to make your dining reservations 60 days before you arrive and for the entirety of your 8-night trip. That means if you arrive on December 25, 2024, you can start making your dining reservations on October 26, 2024, at 6 AM.

When making your dining reservations I would strategize booking the most difficult reservations first rather than by day. You will be competing with a lot of people for a limited number of spots so make sure you get your must-do reservations locked down before moving on to others.  An overlooked dining destination that I highly recommend that is not super competitive to get is Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. I consider their breakfast to be a great value and very delicious.

I hope you get all of your reservations and have a lovely time!

    Happy Planning!

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
