We will be staying at Disney World's Art of Animation for 3 nights and the Polynesian for 4 nights, therefore having TWO different dining plans. Can unused points from our AofA stay be carried over onto the Poly nights?

    Hi Janice,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Wow. You have a fantastic split stay planned! Disney's Art of Animation Resort is my favorite value resort hotel and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is my favorite deluxe resort hotel.

When you check-in to each resort, your total dining plan entitlements will be loaded onto your account for that particular resort stay. You may use those entitlements in whatever order you choose. Your entitlements expire at midnight on the day you checkout. When we visited this August, we did a split stay and had the Deluxe Dining Plan for the first resort hotel stay. We used our final meal entitlements on the day we checked out of that resort.

I do hope you make advanced dining reservations. Reservations are always a must-do, especially for character meals. As you make those dining reservations, be sure to check the number of entitlements required for each restaurant. To do so, click on the restaurant home page and then look for a link that says "Some Dining Plans Accepted." When you click on that link, a popup menu should appear that illustrates the number of meal entitlements required for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner.

Janice, I do have one final thought about the dining plan entitlements. Be sure to use all of your snack entitlements. You can certainly get snacks and take them with you to your stay at the Polynesian Village Resort. I also always chart out our meals for the trip and note the number of meal entitlements we will use at each meal. Doing so helps me make sure that we use all of our entitlements and that we do not run out of entitlements before the end of the visit!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
