I staying at Disney World with my 70 year old in laws and wife and kids ages 5 & 8. we are staying at Animal Kingdom Kidali. Would it be beneficial for us to rent a car to go from park to park since my Mother in law has back issues?

    Hi Kyle,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is a lovely resort. Being able to see exotic animals outside of nearly every window is amazing!

Disney transportation to all destinations from Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is by bus. If your mother-in-law's back makes it uncomfortable for her to ride on a bus, then you might want to consider renting a car. Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is beautiful in part because of its location, which is somewhat removed from many places at Walt Disney World. This means that bus rides from this resort can be comparatively longer. By renting a car you will also be sure that she will not have to wait at a bus stop, which also may be uncomfortable due to her back issues. If you do rent a car while staying at a Walt Disney World resort, you can park for free at the Disney theme parks, which is a great benefit.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Kyle. Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
