    We will be staying at a Disney World Resort, and we were planning on going to the parks before checking in to our hotel. How we get free parking at the parks if we haven’t checked in, or received our magic bands?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

    As a fellow Canadian, I understand how frustrating it can be that MagicBands can’t be shipped internationally. Unfortunately, unless you’re using MagicBands that you received during a previous visit, it might be difficult for you to head straight to the Theme Park of your choice and enjoy complimentary standard self-parking prior to checking in to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. 

    Here’s what I would recommend: use Online Check-In for your upcoming stay. Then, head straight to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel the moment you arrive on property. Tell the Cast Members at the entrance that you’re heading in to pick up your party’s MagicBands, which shouldn’t take very long. They should let you stay parked very close to your Resort’s entrance while you do so. Run in, pick everything up at the counter designated for “Online Check-In” Guests and you should be good to go! 

    The whole process shouldn’t take more than a few minutes, and then you can head straight to the fun. Plus, you can also drop off your bags with Bell Services, which might be nice if you have any heat-sensitive items in your luggage as it can get HOT in a parked car in Central Florida.
