Hi D. A. and welcome to planDisney!
It looks like you're a planner! Even though your Walt Disney World vacation is just about a year away, it will be here before you know it. Choosing where you will stay is a great place to start. Guests staying at a
Disney Resort hotel are entitled to many perks and
Early Theme Park Entry and
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are just the beginning.
Early Theme Park Entry is available to Guests staying at any Disney Resort hotel or Disney Villa and this perk gets you into the participating theme parks 30 minutes early to get a jump start to your day. Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are available to Guests staying at a
Disney Deluxe Resort or
Disney Deluxe Villa Resort. You can find a complete list of participating Resort hotels on the corresponding websites. Participating theme parks for extended hours are typically open 2 hours after the park officially closes. I am not a morning person, so the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours is a major benefit for my family and we've been several times. The attraction wait times have been much lower during these extra hours, so it's definitely a perk to consider when choosing your Disney Resort hotel.
You can check the park hours, including Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours on the
theme park hours calendar. Times are posted for up to 60 days in advance, so you'll have a wait a bit longer to view the schedule for next September.
Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
