Hi there Bruce, wishing a very warm planDisney welcome to a fellow Canadian!
I hope you're getting stoked about leaving some of this chilly weather up North behind as you head down for some nice Floridian sunshine; your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just weeks away! My husband's family flew in recently and since they did not
purchase Magic Bands or utilize
Disney MagicMobile Service to enter the Theme Parks, we were able to acquire physical admission cards for them to use to access the turnstiles instead.
In the past, we have been able to request physical cards to use as admission from the Cast Members at the Front Desk or Lobby Concierge at our
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Our family members purchased their Theme Park Tickets separately from their accommodations and were instructed to visit a
Guest Relations Window located outside of the Theme Parks, at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Upon arrival, they each had to present a confirmation of their purchase along with valid government-issued photo ID. At the conclusion of the trip they each chose to hang onto their admission card, which will definitely serve as a nice keepsake of our week together!
Speaking of keepsakes and souvenirs, February will be a great opportunity to take advantage of the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration as it comes to a close. You'll be among some of the last folks with the opportunity to experience some of these exclusive offerings before they go away at a momentous time in the history of the Walt Disney Company celebrating its own milestone of
100 Years of Wonder!
However you choose to spend your time in the parks, it'll be great to know that you'll be able to have your tickets as a souvenir of your visit.
Don't hesitate to ask me anything else leading up to your trip here at planDisney - I'm always happy to spread the knowledge whenever I can.
Wishing you all the best on your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort journey next month!
