I will be staying in Disney the week of 5/9/2011 thru 5/14/2011. How can I get a schedule of parades & fireworks for this week? And extended hours?

    Hi Joseph,

You can find your park schedules here: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks.    There you can click on the left side of the page where it says "Calendar".  This is a link that will take you directly to the Park's Overview page.  There you can choose the month and date you are interested in.  Simply click on your travel dates and it will list the times of the parades and special events that are happening on that specific day.

Remember to  pick up a schedule sheet upon your entrance at the Parks.  They are kept next to the Park maps.  When looking at this, you will also find the times and locations for character encounters and special events that are happening in that Park on that specific date.  Please remember, you can always ask a Castmember or visit Guest Services with any questions that come up while you are in the Park.

While your on the website, you can also find Extra Magic Hours and Refurbishment information.  When you get on the website, click on Parks.  In the drop down box, click Park Hours.  There you will see "View Hours for 10 Days Beginning".  Enter your trip start date here.  You will then be able to see each park, the schedule for those days and whether or not it has Extra Magic Hours.  At the bottom of each section (for each park) refurbishment information is listed.  I hope this helps you.  If for any reason you can't access the information please call 407-W-DISNEY to speak to a representative.

I hope you have an amazing time!
