Hi Anna! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! I'm excited to hear that you'll be visiting the
Most Magical Place on Earth over the Fourth of July holiday! There is no better place to enhance any holiday festivities than at the Walt Disney World Resort. Typically, both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT will host
special fireworks displays for the Fourth of July.
Anna, as long as you have purchased your park tickets and made your
park reservations, there will not be any additional cost to view these shows. These special displays are available to all Guests visiting the parks on this day. It is possible that a dessert party may be held at either park, especially at the Magic Kingdom. These parties are equipped with tasty sweet treats and a designated viewing area for the show. You won't need to fight through any crowds in order to get a great viewing spot. The dessert parties are usually part of the
Enchanting Extras Collection and will require an additional cost for entry. I would follow along with the
Disney Parks Blog for any news and announcements regarding both the fireworks displays and dessert parties.
To keep with the theming, both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT have patriotic attractions to check out.
The Hall of Presidents can be found in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom and details the founding of the United States. This show dives into the history and depicts all of our past Presidents. I've always found it to be both informative and entertaining. Over at EPCOT in the World Showcase, you'll find The American Adventure which also goes in-depth on our nation's history. My oldest daughter had a great time exploring this attraction and learning a bit about our country. Also, make sure to stop at Regal Eagle Smokehouse while you are here. The barbeque is fantastic!
Anna, I hope you have a magical visit!
Stop back and see us again at planDisney!
See ya real soon!
