Hi Maxine,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I stayed at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa last month, and we were lucky enough to be there while the spectacular gingerbread house was being built. It was fascinating and so much fun to check in on the house each day and see the progress being made. We even got to taste samples of the shingles one day!
I’m delighted to let you know that you are most welcome to visit
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, along with any of the other Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Mickey loves to roll out the red carpet for his Guests, and you’re encouraged to stop by any resort, whether it’s to dine, shop, or just explore.
Many Guests tour the resorts at Christmastime, because the holiday decorations and trees are absolutely stunning to see.
You can find gingerbread creations at several resorts during the holidays, including an actual gingerbread carousel at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. At most of the gingerbread displays, you can even purchase cookies and seasonal beverages to make the experience even more delicious!
Maxine, I’m wishing you so much festive fun on your Christmas visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for all the news about activities, decorations, festive souvenirs, and – my favorite – seasonal treats. The holiday magic in the air at Walt Disney World is truly special, and I know you are about to have a Christmas to remember.
Wishing you a merry and magical vacation,
Robyn
