We will be staying at Disney All Star Resort. 1. Do our cases get taken automatically to the magic shuttle bus at the airport? how do they know what to grab? 2. are tips expected on the shuttle and buses to and from the resort to Disney? what is normal?

    Hi Tara,

Disney's Magical Express complimentary shuttle service from Orlando International Airport to your Disney Resort Hotel is so handy! You will receive brightly colored yellow Magical Express luggage tags approximately 3-weeks prior to your vacation. These will be mailed to the address which you put on file when booking your reservation. You will want to place these tags on the handles of your bags when you check them with your airline at your local airport. These tags will designate your bags as being "Disney bound", and they will know to pick the checked baggage up to bring to your resort. When you and your family arrive at the airport, you will head directly to Disney's Magical Express counter which is located in the Ground Transportation Area on Side B, Level 1. You'll want to note that your luggage does not ride on Disney's Magical Express with you, so be sure to pack separate carry-on's with swim suits, medicine, sunblock, or other important items. The luggage will arrive to your resort hotel room within 3-hours after you check-in, as it is sent via different transportation than on your shuttle bus. As far as gratuities as concerned, generally, my family tips $1 per carry-on bag or item (such as a stroller) which the shuttle driver stores for us underneath the motorcoach for the ride from the airport to Disney.

Please let us know if we can assist you further.

    Wishing you magical memories,
