Hey there, Amanda! I'm so glad you decided to bring your question to planDisney! We are experienced Disney Park guests who love helping others plan their next magical vacation. You'll be at
The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few days, so we'd better get to it!
There's no better place to celebrate a birthday than Walt Disney World. They say that no one ages at Disney, and I can see why. It's the one place where we are all allowed to be kids again. I think that's what keeps so many of us coming back year after year.
To have a special delivery to your room for your husband's big day, place an order with
Magical Floral & Gifts. They have a selection of flowers, balloons, treats, and gifts, and you can order online or over the phone. If you aren't in your room to receive the gift, they will leave it at the front desk for you.
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort is perfect for any Disney fan. The theming is over-the-top in the best of ways! It makes you feel like you're the 102nd Dalmatian or one of the toys in Toy Story. I think you are going to love it! If you haven't already, note the celebration on your reservation. It's easy to log into the website or your My Disney Experience account, select "Change My Reservation," and add it. You can also mention it at check-in. Pick up a free birthday button for him to wear. You can get them at the resort front desk or guest services at any of the theme parks and Disney Springs. This is a fun way to let everyone know about his special day! Encourage him to display it proudly for the duration of your visit. Cast Members want to celebrate with you!
If you make any dining reservations, be sure to note that you are celebrating a birthday. If you have already made a reservation, you can give them a call at (407)WDW-DINE to add it, or just let the Cast Member know when you check in. You can also order a
specialty celebration cake to be brought to your table at select restaurants.
Speaking of dining reservations, a special meal is another great way to commemorate the occasion.
The Boathouse at
Disney Springs is one of my favorites. I still think about their Firecracker Shrimp appetizer, and the signature cocktails are amazing!
EPCOT has lots of restaurants to choose from. I enjoyed dinner at
Nine Dragons Restaurant in the China Pavilion on a recent visit and really liked it. If you time it right, you can even get a view of EPCOT's nighttime spectacular,
Luminous.
Wish your husband a magical birthday for me, Amanda! I hope you both have a wonderful vacation at
Walt Disney World! If there's anything else we can help with here at
planDisney, please let us know! We're always happy to help!
Always Dreaming -
