If I am staying at a Disney Sorings hotel can I drive over to a disney resort to take pictures?

Hi Jodi, and welcome back to planDisney!

I have always enjoyed visiting resorts and being able to take photos and grab a bite to eat during my early stays at Walt Disney World Resort. This type of activity was so important for my family in the early days of our visits because it helped us to determine our next stay. After all, we have stayed at just about every resort on property.

Yes, you can drive to the resort of your choice and look around and take photos. When you arrive at the gate, be sure to let the security personnel know that you are there to have a look around, and they will let you know how to proceed. Please note that you cannot park at a resort to visit a theme park. To visit a theme park, you will need to park in the proper parking lots to enjoy time at any of the theme parks. Otherwise, go and take plenty of photos of your experience, and while you are there, do some shopping or enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants; you will be glad you did.

Please return if you have any additional questions; we will be happy to assist in any way we can.

    Have a magical time!
