Welcome to planDisney, Rebecca!
I'm so glad you stopped by with your question. Can you believe that you're only
one day away from arriving at Walt Disney World Resort?! The wait is finally over! As a Disney Vacation Club Member,
Disney's Saratoga Spring Resort & Spa just so happens to be my Home Resort, so it definitely holds a special place in my heart. I love the Resort's casual-but-sophisticated vibe, sprawling grounds, and close proximity to Disney Springs –– for me, it's the perfect place to relax and unwind after an exciting day in the parks.
As a Disney Vacation Club Resort, one of the great things about Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is the fantastic
Villa accommodations you'll find throughout the Resort. While you'll find a handy kitchenette in the Deluxe Studios, in the 1-Bedroom, 2-Bedroom, and 3-Bedroom Grand Villas, you'll find fully equipped kitchens and an in-room washer/dryer –– talk about convenient, right? To stock that kitchen space (after all, what use is a kitchen without plenty of snacks to go along with it?), having groceries delivered to your Resort is a great option, and it's something my family does for each and every visit.
You can use any grocery delivery service of your choice, just be sure to have them delivered to "Guest (name)" and use the Resort's main entrance as the delivery address. As an added bonus, Bell Services will even be happy to accept delivery of your order for you (including refrigerated items) and store it until you're ready to pick it up. Just keep in mind that Bell Services can't accept delivery of age-restricted items like alcohol –– if your order contains these things, you'll need to meet the delivery driver yourself to show your photo ID. Once you're ready to collect your items, you can stop by Bell Services to pick them up or have them delivered directly to your room for a small fee. It's easy and convenient –– just the way a perfect vacation should be!
When it comes to dining at the Resort, you also have a few options. For a quick bite, you can stop by The Artist's Palette, located in the main building, or one of the Resort's two poolside spots, The Paddock Grill or Backstretch Pool Bar. And if you'd like to sit down and enjoy a table service meal, the Resort is also home to
The Turf Club Bar and Grill (there's a casual lounge attached to the Turf Club, as well). Not only does the restaurant offer great food, but it also has great views of the golf course, Lake Buena Vista, and Disney Springs from the patio. While reservations are always recommended, I can tell you that I've had some good luck in finding walk-up availability for The Turf Club in the past, so this is always a possibility. And if you don't mind taking a walk (or a relaxing boat ride), remember that
Disney Springs is located right by the Resort, so you'll have plenty of dining options to choose from there, too.
Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Rebecca. I'm wishing you lots of pixie dust during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
