Hiya, Kurtis! Welcome to planDisney!
Planning a full week at
Walt Disney World Resort is my kind of vacation. I like your style! A week is the perfect amount of time. It lets you visit the parks without feeling rushed, and you can also build in some rest time, which is what a vacation is all about!
The
Disney Dining Plan is a great way to prepay for your meals while you’re at The Most Magical Place on Earth. It’s one less thing to worry about while you’re on vacation, and that alone can make it worth it for some Guests.
I went to the Walt Disney World Resort website and created a vacation package with a weeklong stay at a Disney Resort, 2-day park tickets, and the Disney Dining Plan, so I’m happy to report that it is possible. What I think could be happening is that certain
offers cannot be combined or must meet specific conditions, which is preventing you from applying the Disney Dining Plan to the package you are building.
On the welcome page of the Walt Disney World website, you should see a banner at the top that reads “Build Your Vacation.” Here, you can select the dates you’d like to visit, the makeup of your party, and the resort you’d like to stay at. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be prompted to select a resort. The next page will display the offers that are currently available and prompt you to select one of them. At the bottom of each offer button, you’ll see a link that reads “Offer Details.” This will give you the details on exactly which offers can be combined, if any. For example, there’s currently an offer to save up to 30% on rooms this summer. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer, except for the
2026 Kids Dining Plan Offer.
I suggest browsing the available offers to determine which one would be best for you and which one allows you to add the Disney Dining Plan and the tickets of your choosing.
If you are still unable to build the vacation package of your choosing, you can
call the Walt Disney World Resort directly, and a Cast Member will be happy to help you book your vacation!
I hope this answers your question, Kurtis! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your visit, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at

Happy planning!
