Howdy, Amy! You're in for a treat during your upcoming vacation! Securing dining reservations is always at the top of my Disney to-do list, too!
So, you can absolutely make
dining reservations even if you haven’t purchased your
theme park tickets yet. Disney allows all guests, including those staying at a Disney Resort, to book dining reservations up to 60 days in advance, and as a resort guest, you can even make them for your entire stay (up to 10 days) starting on that first booking day.
You’re completely right that you’ll need valid theme park admission to dine at any restaurant located inside a park, but the tickets themselves don’t have to be linked at the time you make the reservation. The system will let you book dining without any issue. You'll just need to make sure your tickets are linked before your park day so you can actually enter for your meal.
If you’re planning to dine at resort restaurants or
Disney Springs, no park admission is needed at all, so those are great options while you finalize your ticket plans.
So go ahead and start grabbing those hard-to-get reservations! You’ll have your pick of some amazing spots, and once your park tickets are all set, everything will link together in your
My Disney Experience account seamlessly.
Bon appetit, Amy! Stop by and see us again soon if you have more dining questions.
Toodles,
Korliss
