I am staying at a Disney resort. If I purchase a 6 day ticket plan and do not get to use the tickets at all, when do they expire?

    Hi Beth,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

What I love about vacationing at Walt Disney World is that you can enjoy a perfectly magical vacation both inside the theme parks as well as outside the theme parks. There's so much to see and do and experience all around Walt Disney World Resort — at the Resort hotels themselves, at Disney Springs, at Disney's BoardWalk, and more — that you can enjoy a whole stay outside of visiting the theme parks. When you purchase theme park admission tickets, there are 2 expiration dates you'll want to keep in mind, and those dates are related to when you first use your tickets. One key expiration date is that you'll need to use all the tickets and any options such as the Park Hopper Plus Options within 14 days of the first day you use them. A second key expiration date is that the first day you use the tickets must be on or before December 31, 2019. So in your example, if you purchase a 6-day theme park admission ticket and you don't use any of those days while at Walt Disney World, you'll need to start using them by December 31, 2019.

Beth, here's wishing you a great and fun Walt Disney World vacation.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
