Hi Beth,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.
What I love about vacationing at
Walt Disney World is that you can enjoy a perfectly magical vacation both inside the theme parks as well as outside the theme parks. There's so much to see and do and experience all around Walt Disney World Resort — at the Resort hotels themselves, at
Disney Springs, at
Disney's BoardWalk, and more — that you can enjoy a whole stay outside of visiting the theme parks. When you
purchase theme park admission tickets, there are 2 expiration dates you'll want to keep in mind, and those dates are related to when you first use your tickets. One key expiration date is that you'll need to use all the tickets and any options such as the Park Hopper Plus Options within 14 days of the first day you use them. A second key expiration date is that the first day you use the tickets must be on or before December 31, 2019. So in your example, if you purchase a 6-day theme park admission ticket and you don't use any of those days while at Walt Disney World, you'll need to start using them by December 31, 2019.
Beth, here's wishing you a great and fun Walt Disney World vacation.
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
