Hi Jennifer!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am happy to talk about
Disney PhotoPass Service and
Memory Maker!
Since my family typically does trips for four days or more, we always purchased the full Memory Maker in advance of our visit at the discounted price. Now that we are Annual Passholders, all of our digital photo and video downloads are included with our Annual Passes. The photos have always captured the fun in our visits in more ways than we could ever have imagined. We especially adore the photos and videos from select attractions because our expressions are just comical.
Since you will only be visiting Magic Kingdom for a day, I believe the
Memory Maker One Day would be perfect for you. Although Memory Maker does include photos from select PhotoPass locations at restaurants located in Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and select locations at
Disney Springs, if you are not planning to spend a lot of time at these additional locations, the one-day package should capture the memories you need captured at a price that is less than the full Memory Maker.
ADDITIONAL TIPS: Be sure to stop and take the photos. On our first trip with Memory Maker, we only took about 100 photos. On subsequent trips, we had over 200 simply because we remembered to stop and take pictures. Be sure to download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App so that you can check to make sure your pictures are appearing in your My Disney Experience account after you take them. If a picture does not appear, you can
contact Disney PhotoPass Services and they can try to retrieve it and link it to your account. As long as we have been able to tell them the general time frame and location of the picture, they have always found our missing photos!
Jennifer, sending you lots of picture-perfect pixie dust!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
