If staying at a Disney resort for 9 nights, must we buy 9 or 10 MYW tickets or can we buy a 5 or 6 day MYW ticket with water parks option and split our time between theme parks and water parks? How does this work if we want to buy a dining plan? Thanks!

    Hi there, Tim!

It sounds like you've got a nice long vacation coming up at the Walt Disney World Resort! I really love being able to have more than a week so we can just be leisurely. That's the best!

The way the vacation packages currently work, you must purchase Park tickets for everyone in your party, but they can be for as little as one day if you'd like. When you add the Water Park Fun & More option to your tickets, those give you that same number of fun visits. So, for example, if you have a five day Park ticket with the fun visits, you can go to the Theme Parks for five days and the Water Parks and Disney Quest the other five days. That is a very fun way of covering a whole lot of territory at Walt Disney World!

For the Disney Dining Plans, you will receive your allotments per person per night of your vacation and the number of each meal credit depends on which dining plan you choose. Please remember that the table service restaurants are very popular and reservations are highly recommended. Reservations can be made online or by calling 407.WDW.DINE [939.3463].

I hope this helps and I encourage you to come back and ask more questions if we can be of further assistance while you're making your plans!

    Have a Pixie Dusted vacation!
