Hi, Jaclyn!
Welcome aboard
Disney Cruise Line! I am excited to hear you are combing your magical cruise with a visit to
Walt Disney World. Remember that if you have a
MagicBand+ from the theme parks, you may use it onboard your cruise. When checking in at the cruise terminal, have your MagicBand+ scanned to make sure it is linked to your cruise reservation.
Unfortunately, you will be unable to leave your car at your Disney Resort Hotel. Resort parking is exclusively for resort guests, and since you will be checking out, you will no longer be a registered guest. Your best option would be to simply drive to
Port Canaveral from Walt Disney World. The drive is under 90 minutes, and there is plenty of (paid) parking at the port. Since Disney Cruise Line
ground transportation is currently $90 per person round trip (price subject to change), driving yourself will probably be the more economical option. By having your own car, you will also be able to travel on your own schedule. As soon as your cruise ends, you can hop in the car for your drive to Walt Disney World without having to wait for your assigned motorcoach.
Regarding your stays in Walt Disney World: Remember that since you will have 2 separate reservations, you will need to check in twice...once for your stay pre-cruise, then for your stay post-cruise. Even if returning to the same hotel, the reservations will be independent of each other.
Jaclyn, I hope you find the perfect transportation option for your vacation. You are sure to have a vacation filled with magic on both land and sea. Bon Voyage!
Cathy
