We will be staying at a Disney resort in March, but want to extend our vacation in Florida area. Is there a way that we can obtain a rental car to be dropped off for us at the Disney resort, and then we would return it to Ft Myers airpt when we leave ?

Welcome to planDisney, Mary! We’re so glad you stopped by to bring us your question!

Mary, I’m so excited for you that you’re gEARing up for a magical stay at one of Disney’s Resort hotels! There’s so much magic to experience. And extending your Disney vacation? Always the right call. More time in Florida means more time for fun!

You’ll be happy to know that renting a car to pick up at Walt Disney World Resort and returning it to a different location, like Fort Myers Airport, is absolutely possible! The Car Care Center – Car Rental Facility, located right near Magic Kingdom, offers rentals through Alamo, Enterprise, and National. They even provide complimentary shuttle service to and from your Disney Resort hotel during operating hours. All you need to do is make a reservation in advance through the Car Care Center website or by calling their office directly.

When you’re ready to start your Florida road trip, you can pick up your rental car at the Car Care Center, enjoy your extended vacation, and return it to Fort Myers Airport when you’re done. It’s such a convenient way to add a little extra pixie dust to your travel plans.

I hope you have an unforgettable visit to the most magical place on earth and that you can take in all the Florida sun while you’re here! If you have any additional questions or need more planning tips, please don’t hesitate to stop by!

    See ya real soon,
