    We are staying at a disney resort. Are the magic bands included or should we buy our own? Also if they are included will they be in our rooms when we arrive?

    Hi there, Anthony! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by. I love to chat about MagicBands! They’re simply my favorite accessory while visiting Walt Disney World. There’s nothing like leaving your Disney Resort Hotel Room with little more than the awesome piece of flair on your wrist that allows you to enter the Theme Parks, pay for purchases, and so much more! 

    A Disney Resort Hotel stay does not include complimentary MagicBands as of 2021. However, you are eligible for discounted MagicBands via your My Disney Experience Account! You can order these online up to 11 days before your vacation if you wish to receive them at home via mail and up to 6 days before your vacation if you wish to have them waiting for you in your Resort Hotel room! You may also purchase them on your own, either via ShopDisney or in any Walt Disney World retail location! You will see so many designs available, and there is something for everyone! Of course, you can also order solid colored ones and decorate them however you wish. Many online stores make decals and offer customization options. The possibilities are endless!
