Hi Shaleena! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
There are three phenomenally themed hotels at the Disneyland Resort,
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa,
Disneyland Hotel, and
Pixar Place Hotel. All offer incredible convenient access to the parks, delicious dining options, and lots of Disney magic. The pools at each of these hotels provide Guests with a fantastic recreation option during their time outside the parks, whether it's during an afternoon reset or a full-blown resort day.
I completely understand wanting to be sure you'll be able to enjoy those slides during your pool time. I checked the pool pages for each of the hotels, and no refurbishment of the pool slides is currently taking place, which means you should be able to enjoy this extra splash of fun, wherever you call home this visit.
While this could always change, I'd be packing my swimsuit as you throw together your suitcase so long as you're comfortable swimming in the current temperatures. Also, consider packing layers for early mornings and late nights. The temperature can drop dramatically when the sun goes down. Comfortable shoes are always a must as well.
My favorite pools are the retro-themed pools at the iconic Disneyland Resort. Those
E-Ticket pool Monorail-inspired slides are a visual sensation! I always end up snapping a family picture with the slides serving as a colorful backdrop. But you can't go wrong with any of the hotels or their pools. If you're staying at a Disney-approved
Good Neighbor Hotel and planning to enjoy their pool slides, I'd suggest checking their hotel website or calling the hotel directly to inquire about their current situation. Good Neighbor Hotels are a great option. They're close to the parks and offer many different amenities to suit a Guest's particular needs, including splish-splashing fun.
Have the merriest time!
