    When staying at a Disney resort is there any kind of car rental service available through the resort for venturing off site to purchase groceries etc? Or must we get a taxi?

    Hi Sara!

    My family and I have rented a car for most of our vacations to Walt Disney World Resort, and I understand how convenient it is to have a car handy to run those errands.

    While there is not a rental car service through the Disney Parks Resorts, there is the Walt Disney World Car Care Center. Located in the same area as Disney's Magic Kingdom Park, you will find two car rental companies; Alamo (ORLR72) and National (ORLR02). You can make your reservation online prior to leaving home and when you are ready, call the Car Care Center at (407)824-3470 and within 30 minutes of your reserved time, they will pick you up. After you drop off your rental, during operating hours, they will shuttle you back to your resort. Also, depending on availability, you can make same-day reservations.
