Hi there, Laura! Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by with your question for us.
First things first, I'd like to clarify that the Hilton Olando Buena Vista Palace is not one of the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. However, it is one of the seven Official Walt Disney World Resort Hotels! These hotels offer an ample variety of amazing amenities, as well as transportation to and from the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. You won't regret your decision!
Unfortunately for you,
MagicBands are only available for purchase 10 days before arrival to Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guests residing in the United States and Canda, and they are no longer offered as a complimentary service. Since you will be staying at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace, what I suggest is that you call the hotel's Front Desk at 011 407 827 2727 and ask them what their mail reception policy is. If you're able to have packages shipped to you at your hotel, you could always
order MagicBands through shopDisney, and they'll be waiting for you when you arrive!
Keeping that in mind, I think it would be much better for you to wait until you've arrived at the Walt Disney World Resort to purchase your MagicBands on-site. You will find tons of designs at most shops throughout the Resort, so you'll be able to pick the ones you like the most by looking at them in person. Finally, and answering your last question, I always recommend that Guests purchase and wear MagicBands for the duration of their magical vacations. They are comfortable, stylish, and super convenient, since they house your Theme Park tickets, Lightning Lane entrances, and PhotoPass photos. The biggest perk is that they're very hard to misplace, and you won't need to reach into your backpack or purse to get your cards every time you need them for something!
Laura, I hope that my answer has helped ease some of your concerns regarding MagicBands. Please don't hesitate to come back and ask us any other questions in English
or in Spanish! We're always happy to help.
See you real soon,
Ana Paula
