We are staying in Disney resort hotel, is there anywhere near to get a few groceries for room for 2 small kids? We will not have rental car..not sure how this works if a shuttle will take or even cab to near by store for items like milk and bread

All of the Walt Disney World resorts have a small selection of groceries available in the gift shop, Allison.  You shouldn't have any trouble finding milk and bread there.  They also carry cereal, and some snack items, like crackers.  All that said, the selection is very limited and if you're set on a certain type of milk, you might not find what you're looking for.  If you do find it, be prepared to pay a premium for the convenience.  If you only need a few items (and you're not terribly picky) you should be fine with what is available on-site.  If you need a few more staples to carry you through, you might consider ordering groceries and having them delivered.  You can just enter the search term "grocery delivery service Orlando" into Google and it should yield you a few options.  Otherwise, you can certainly call a taxi and have them take you to the nearest convenience store, but by the time you pay the fare you'd probably be better off just using the grocery delivery service.  Also, you can always check the resort's food court for fresh fruit; they typically keep oranges, apples and bananas well-stocked.  I hope that helps!
