if you are staying at a Disney resort and are flying there can you check in when you arrive ?

    Hi Tammy,

If you are starting your Walt Disney World Resort vacation by flying into the Orlando International Airport, I highly recommend that you make a reservation for Disney's Magical Express. This complimentary motorcoach transportation will take you to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel in true Disney style, and is a great and hassle-free way to kick off your vacation.

Tammy, while official check-in time at Walt Disney World Resort hotels is 3 p.m. (or 4 p.m. if you are staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort), it is possible that your room might be available early. I suggest you check with the front desk upon arrival to see if a room might be available. Better yet, you may wish to complete Disney Online Check-In. During this process, you will be able to notify Disney of your expected arrival time, and even provide your mobile phone number so you can receive a text message with your room number once your room is ready. Provided you have your MagicBand, which should be mailed to you shortly before your trip, you will then be able to go directly to your room without having to stop at the front desk.

In the event your hotel room is not available upon your arrival at the Resort, you will be able to leave your carry-on luggage and belongings with Bell Services and enjoy the amenities at your Resort, take a dip in the pool, or even make a trip to the Theme Parks or Disney Springs.

Wishing you a magical upcoming stay and a terrific Disney vacation!
