    We are staying at a Disney resort this fall. Are we allowed to visit other resorts? Only for sightseeing. Don't want to use their amenities, pools or anything.

    Hey Rhonda-

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Walt Disney World Resort in the fall is so wonderful. With fall holiday decorations and cooler temperatures you will have a magical visit.

    One of my favorite experiences is visiting Resort hotels. You may visit any Walt Disney World Resort hotel to enjoy the elaborate theming and get a feel for where you would stay during your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Certain areas, such as the pools, are off limits but there is plenty to see, feel, hear and smell. When you arrive at the gate tell them you are visiting and they will give you a free three hour parking pass. This will give you plenty of time to walk around, take photos and immerse yourself in the creative design of each unique hotel. Of course, you may take complimentary Disney transportation to the Resort hotels as well from the theme parks or Disney Springs.

    Disney Dad Tip: I love riding the Walt Disney World Monorail to all the Resort hotels on the Resort Monorail. You will be able to visit Disney’s Contemporary and Polynesian Village Resorts as well as Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
