When staying at a disney resort can you explore the other resorts, dinning, activities, pools etc. or are they all exclusive to guests in that resort?

    Hi Laura!

Staying in a Walt Disney World Resort is (in my opinion) the best way to fully experience Disney on your trip.  We love the Disney resorts and enjoy exploring all of them.  Disney encourages guests to visit and tour their resorts... you may find a new favorite!

You can definitely dine and enjoy activities at other resorts.  However, the resort pools are for guests of that resort only.  Otherwise, some of the "best" pools would be overcrowded.

We like to "monorail hop" and explore the resorts that sit on the monorail (Polynesian Village, Grand Floridian, Contemporary).  They are all so different and beautiful in their own way.   My favorite time to resort hop is during the holidays. The trees are amazing!

The Disney Boardwalk area is also a great place to go to visit different resorts.  You can walk to the Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan and Dolphin all from the boardwalk area.

I hope this helps!  Definitely explore the resorts and please let me know if you have any other questions
