Staying at Disney resort 5 days & 4 nights. That 5th day, may I leave in the afternoon to check in at the local Motel 6, then return to Magic Kingdom for dinner and stay for the extra magic hours until 1AM?

    Hi Nancy!

Provided that you have a five day park ticket on your Key to the World Card, you certainly would be able to visit a park on your 5th day, before and after checking into your off-property hotel. You are still considered a Disney Resort Guest until midnight of your check out day as far as Dining Plan is concerned, if applicable, and your park tickets are valid for 14 days from the first date of usage or until your park days are all used up, whichever comes first.

For Extra Magic Hours that evening, you will need to show your Key to the World Card to a Cast Member when you wish to access an attraction.

Wishing you a Magical time on your Walt Disney World vacation Nancy!
