When staying at a Disney resort does the 60 day advance fast pass booking and the extra magic hours apply to the check in day and the check out day?

    Michelle,

Great questions! Let me tackle them one at a time.

    FastPass+ Booking
With a Disney resort hotel booking, you focus on that first day that you are checking in. Therefore, when you are 60 days out from your check-in day of your vacation you may begin making FastPass+ plans for that first day, as well as for the next 10 days of your trip.

Strategy Tip: With rides that I know are extremely popular, like anything that is new, I plan to get FastPass+ passes for those later in my week. You have a better chance of getting them then, as fewer guests have had the chance to book FastPass+ passes on your last day of your vacation than your first.

    Extra Magic Hours
As a Disney resort guest you can take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours at a park on any of the days of your trip, including both the check in day, and the check out day.

Strategy Tip: If on my arrival day the Extra Magic Hours were for the morning at a particular park, I pick a different park to visit that day so that I miss some of the slightly elevated crowds that might be created by that perk.

I hope that this helps? Make sure you send more questions our way if you have them!
