I am staying at a Disney Resort, do you have to buy separate tickets for the Extra Magic Hours or is that included with the passes I already bought? Also, do you have to exit the park and then re-enter for the extra magic hours?

    Hello Aubrie!
I think that you are going to be excited because the great news is that just by being a Guest at a Walt Disney World Resort, you are entitled to both Morning and Evening Extra Magic Hours at whatever particular theme park has Extra Magic Hours on that particular day! People who are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort do not have this benefit. You will not have to leave a theme park and re-enter it to receive this great Extra Magic Hours benefit. When your MagicBand is scanned, it will show that you are staying at Walt Disney World Resort and that will be all the proof that you need to enter early or stay later for Extra Magic Hours. For Evening Extra Magic Hours sometimes there are checkpoints within the parks that will scan your MagicBands to ensure that you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort or your MagicBands will be scanned when entering a ride or attraction. I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
