If I am staying at a Disney resort, do I have to arrive by plane to catch the Magical Express at the Airport? I want to arrive 1 day early to not lose the check in day on the plane. And then stay offsite just 1night. I guess the Hotel has a airport shuttle

Hi Vanessa! Thanks so much for sharing all of your questions with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You absolutely can do this! On one of my recent vacations, I had a very late arrival time into Orlando International Airport. I had pre-arranged to stay at a hotel near the airport. When I arrived, I took the hotel shuttle and then returned to Orlando International Airport the next day.

I then checked-in at Disney's Magical Express and my Walt Disney World Resort vacation officially began! The complimentary motorcoach whisked me away to my beautiful Disney Resort hotel!

One important note: when you check your luggage, do NOT put the yellow Disney's Magical Express luggage tags on your checked bags. You will need to claim your luggage at baggage claim so you will have them during the 1st night of your arrival. When you arrive at your motorcoach, your luggage will be stowed with the other items and returned to you when you arrive at your Resort hotel.

I know you are going to have a fantastic time at Walt Disney World Resort! Enjoy every magical moment!
