I am staying at a Disney Resort April 18-24th. Should we take advantage of the extra magic hours in the mornings or the evenings to beat the crowds? If mornings, what time do you suggest we leave the park? if evenings, what time do you suggest we go?

    Hi Nancy!!

Disney's Extra Magic Hours are such a wonderful added advantage to those staying on Walt Disney World Property.

I, personally, am a fan of the Evening Extra Magic Hours.  First of all, it is three hours versus one hour for the Morning Extra Magic Hours.  It always seems like more is open during the Evening Extra Magic Hours.

The main benefit to the Evening Extra Magic Hours is that the only people there during the three hours are resort guests.  For the Morning Extra Magic Hours it is only resort guests for the one hour, but anyone can come in after the Extra Magic Hours are over.

I would recommend getting to the park with Evening Extra Magic Hours approximately one to two hours before they start.  This will allow you to possibly watch a parade or show and then start to enjoy the various attractions that are open!!!

I hope this helps you and that you have a magical trip!!
