Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We are staying on Disney property and was wondering if the bus from Pop Century to Magic Kingdom goes start to MK or does it stop and the TTC? I heard that if MK doesn't open until 9am then the TTC doesn't start running until 8:45 is that true?

    Hi Jessica,

    Many years ago the Ticket and Transportation Center used to be used as a Hub for all of the busses from the different WDW Resorts, etc... but now that has changed and the busses will take you directly to the Magic Kingdom from the WDW Resorts.  If you cross the street at the Contemporary Resort you will see that the busses have their own station there now for travel between the Magic Kingdom and all of the WDW Resorts.  The Ticket and Transportation Center is now used for travel to the Magic Kingdom for guests who have their own cars and park in the adjacent parking lot there.  From there they take a parking tram across the street to the TTC and it's off to Magic Kingdom by either monorail or boat!  Operating hours will vary for the monorail and boat depending on when they have scheduled advanced dining reservations for Cinderella's Royal Table which start much earlier than the regular Park opening hours and transportation needs to be available for guests dining at Magic Kingdom during these early hours.  It is best to ask a cast member at your WDW Resort what the operating hours for all of the transportation modes will be during your visit.  So, in answer again to your question......when you board the bus at the Pop Century Resort, you will be dropped off at the Bus Depot located just outside the main entrance to Magic Kingdom and this would be your quickest option.  Happy travels!
