    if you are staying at a Disney property can refillable mugs be purchased if you are not on one of the various Disney Dining Plan options?

    Hi, Roger!

    You know how everyone has that "little thing" that means so much to them on a vacation? Well, the refillable mugs at the Disney resort hotels is my "little thing!" Getting a new mug upon arrival is a MUST for each of my Disney vacations.

    If you are not on the Disney Dining Plan, you can simply pay out of pocket for your treasured mug! Prices are subject to change, but count on about $17 per mug. Since a coffee or soft drink will run about $3 (give or take) your break even point on the mug comes pretty quick. Then as a bonus, that mug is yours to keep. Yep, you can guess how my kitchen cupboards look - wall to wall mugs, and I cherish every single one!

    Your mug will be activated for your length of stay, so enjoy a morning coffee, afternoon iced tea while lounging at the pool, or a nice cool soft drink with a meal. Even fill it up on for a "to-go" drink when you are ready to head home. Here is a tip for you...If you have kids, having them get your beverage refilled is a perfect job for them!
