Hi Patricia,
Thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your question! I love the day that you have planned. Taking the boat from
Magic Kingdom to
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is a lovely way to travel. Once you disembark at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, you find yourself in almost another world. It is tranquil, peaceful, and a great place to relax!
I have good news for you, Patricia. When you leave the boat, you are in quick walking distance to restaurants at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. I would say that the walk is maybe three minutes; you can almost see the restaurants from the dock! You can walk to
Trail's End Restaurant for delicious fare including fried chicken, or you could grab a cocktail and some lounge fare from
Crockett's Tavern. Both of these
dining locations recently reopened with fresh new looks and menus! I cannot wait to get there any try these out myself.
If you are looking for a truly unique dining and entertainment experience, you can also check out the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. This foot-stomping good time includes amazing rollicking songs and entertainment as well as great food. It is located in Pioneer Hall, which is likewise a quick walk from the dock for the Magic Kingdom boat.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Patricia! Please do let us know if we can help you any further in planning your magical vacation.
