    We will be staying at Disney Old Key West Resort from 6-10 thru 6-15. Can we still dine at a Disney resort after we check out at 11am? Will our magic bands still work?

    Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I love a stay at Disney's Old Key West Resort. I find this resort to be relaxing and a wonderful place to have as a home base for a Walt Disney World vacation.

    You are absolutely welcome to dine at any Walt Disney World resort on your check-out day! This is a great idea as there are many fabulous restaurants at the Walt Disney World resort hotels, and since you will not be entering a theme park, you will not need theme park admission. Many of the restaurants at the resorts are hidden gems. Right at Disney's Old Key West, check out Olivia's Cafe. I love this restaurant. The fare is Florida Keys-inspired and quite delicious.

    Also, I have good news for you. Your MagicBand will work for charging on the day of your check out even after you check out. I just took a trip and experienced exactly this. We headed to Disney's Animal Kingdom Park after we checked out of our resort, and I was able to continue to use my MagicBand to charge throughout the day. The charges simply appeared separately on my credit card when I got home. Also, if you are on a Disney Dining Plan, your dining credits will be available until 11:59 p.m. on the day that you check out.
